National Reading Week

Today our state beauty queen came to read to the kids at the school in honor of national reading week. Now her talent for the pageants is ventriloquism and she brought a puppet with her to show to the kids and every single one of them were absolutely enchanted by it. She read Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat and all of the kids were absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, due to the rain, we weren't able to take the kids outside to work off some of their energy so they were rather wild for the rest of the day.
